# How to Prepare Logo Design for Printing?
Print quality is directly related to design quality. Wrong file format or low-resolution images lead to poor print results. In this guide, you'll learn how to properly prepare your logo for t-shirt and textile printing.
File Requirements by Printing Method
For Screen Printing
For DTG (Digital Printing)
For Embroidery
For Sublimation
Common Mistakes
1. Low-Resolution Logo
Logos downloaded from WhatsApp or websites are usually 72 DPI and not suitable for printing. Use the original vector file.2. JPEG Background Issue
JPEG format has no transparent background. White background may show in print. Use PNG or vector.3. RGB vs CMYK
Screen colors (RGB) may differ from print colors (CMYK). Neon and bright colors appear more matte in print.4. Too Fine Details
Very thin lines disappear in screen printing and embroidery. Minimum 0.5mm (screen) or 2mm (embroidery) line thickness recommended.File Checklist
| Check | ✅ Correct | ❌ Wrong | |---|---|---| | Resolution | 300+ DPI | 72 DPI (web) | | Format | AI, PNG, PDF | JPEG (with background) | | Background | Transparent (PNG) | White square | | Size | Actual print size | Too small file | | Color | CMYK / Pantone | RGB neon colors |
